Zian Zheng

Zian is a landscape designer who treats the landscape as a living system rather than a static composition. Inspired by Ian McHarg’s belief to “design with nature,” she focuses on regenerative landscape design by listening closely to the site and the people who inhabit it, integrating ecological systems, cultural narratives, and social needs into each design decision. She is also interested in environmental graphic design and interpretive signage that helps translate ecological systems into meaningful stories for the people who use a place.
