Aaron Farray

Aaron is a designer on TBG’s Urban Design and Planning team, where he supports projects through site layouts, renderings, zoning research, and developer presentations. Passionate about urban mixed-use development, he believes growing upward is essential to support Houston’s rapid growth while reducing suburban sprawl. Aaron’s design philosophy prioritizes pedestrian comfort by carefully considering scale, proportion, and detail, and he is particularly interested in the future of smart cities and how technology will shape urban planning. With a lifelong love for drawing cities and site plans, he brings a human-centered approach to his work—using creative placemaking, adaptive reuse, and strategies like public art and pop-up spaces to transform underutilized areas into vibrant, walkable environments that foster health, happiness, and community connection.
