With the client’s focus on creating more wildlife throughout the area, TBG has helped establish coastal prairie in a green field as well as design a master plan for interpretive experiences and trails. The site will work to restore the Texas Gulf Coast Ecosystem, providing a diverse range of habitat for migratory birds and other wildlife. It will also feature innovative stormwater management strategies to filter and slow stormwater runoff before entering Galveston Bay. A living shoreline is also being implemented to stabilize and help prevent erosion as well as create marine habitat.
