The supertall tower at the confluence of Lady Bird Lake and Waller Creek brings the hill country architecture and landscape experience to the city through the use of natural materials, texture and visual connections. Wanting to connect the Rainey Street District to Downtown, Waterline’s ground level will be dedicated to retail and restaurant spaces. With a porous and open design, residents will be able to naturally interact with each other and the city around them. Residents will also be able to enjoy a multitude of vertically integrated landscape gardens throughout the building. The tower will offer open access to Waterloo Greenway and the Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail surrounding Lady Bird Lake. With incredible views of the city, lake and hill country, the tower will be over 300 feet taller than the current tallest towers in Austin.
