Located on the historic horseshoe section of the River Walk, the San Antonio location of Canopy pays homage to the historical setting along with a unique tower form that cantilevers over the adjacent Esquire Tavern, which is the city’s oldest bar. Established elements have been repurposed — including the historic building façade’s use in the reconstructed façade on Commerce Street, as well as a preserved 18th century stone cistern integrated into the ground-level outdoor patio.
