As a landscape designer, Beth works across all project phases from concept development and hand graphics to schematic presentations, renderings, design development, construction documentation, and cost estimating. She excels at visualizing and crafting human-scale spaces that respond thoughtfully to program and site context, with a particular passion for parks and playgrounds. Rooted in natural, organic forms and biophilic principles, her design approach weaves softscape and hardscape into seamless, flowing environments tailored to people’s wants and needs. As a musician, Beth brings an added sensitivity to the sensory qualities of place, consciously considering existing and desired sounds throughout site inventory and design. She is also driven by the belief that outdoor spaces can strengthen communities and promote equitable, meaningful connections with nature and one another. Beyond her project work, Beth gives back to the community through volunteer efforts including middle school career days, helping plan annual Texas ASLA conferences, and serving on ASLA’s Career Discovery and K–12 Advisory Board.
