Amanda Wenger

A landscape designer and project manager, Amanda is an Outdoor Learning Environment (OLE!) accredited designer and passionate about the benefits of nature-based play to expand children’s imaginations, creativity and connection to the outdoors. With nearly 10 years of experience, she has managed complex projects that care for the landscape and encourage exploration including Oak Creek Exploration Zone at The Parish School and Heritage Grove Park at Sienna. In addition to project management, Amanda focuses daily on scheduling, client and contractor coordination and design work. She has a keen interest in playground and play spaces, especially ones that are nature-play based, and loves to see how children use different elements, sometimes in ways never imagined. Amanda also appreciates projects that include habitat restoration and bring authentic nature back into the landscape.
