The park design converted the flat 32-acre parcel into a more immersive setting with topographical variety — large rolling hills provide many informal play opportunities — as well as multipurpose lawns, trails, disc golf, playground and a lake. Additional project elements include a pedestrian bridge, pavilion, boardwalks, solar-powered lighting, rain gardens and educational signage.

Opened in November 2016, Willow Fork Park is a 32-acre park completed as part of Phase II of Willow Fork Drainage District’s Parks Master Plan, which was developed by TBG to serve multiple communities within WFDD.
